Khalid Khursheed sworn in as Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister

GILGIT: Khalid Khursheed has been sworn in as Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister in Gilgit on Tuesday.

Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Raja Jalal Hussain Maqpoon administered the oath. 

Members of the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly and other high officials attended the oath taking ceremony.

Khurshid elected a member of the Gilgit-Baltistan assembly from the GBLA-13 constituency during the November 15 elections and belongs to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. He was elected as the CM Monday night after receiving 22 votes.
