Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib says despite financial crunch, the government is undertaking a massive development programme to make Pakistan self-reliant, particularly in agriculture sector.

Addressing a function in Faisalabad, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan is striving hard to transform Pakistan in to a true Islamic state on the pattern of Riyasat-e-Madina.

Farrukh Habib said the previous rulers pushed Pakistan at the verge of economic collapse and now they are projecting themselves as champions of democracy.

He said the PTI government has plugged all loopholes to plunder state exchequer and build palaces abroad.
