Monks, nurses join nationwide protests against Myanmar coup

NAYPYIDAW: In Myanmar, tens of thousands of people have joined a third day of nationwide demonstrations against the removal of Aung San Suu Kyi's government.

Buddhist monks and health workers have also joined the protest.

Police fired bursts of water cannon against a group of the protesters who had gathered today in the capital Naypyidaw.
