Myanmar's ruling party wins in general elections

NAYPYITAW: Myanmar's ruling National League for Democracy party has won the general elections to form a new government.

According to official result announcement by the Union Election Commission, the ruling party has won 346 seats in the Parliament.

However, the military backed opposition has demanded a re-run of the elections.
