NADRA centers to be established at all Tahseel headquarters in country: Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Interior minister Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed says National Database registration Authority centers will be established at all Tahseel headquarters in the country.

Talking to media in Karachi after visiting NADRA mega center, he said modern chip will be installed in the passport of the country and now the passports will be issued for the period of ten years.

He said standard of NADRA will further be raised to facilitate the people and national identity cards will only be issued to the citizens of Pakistan.

He said Karachi will be turn up into a safe city in cooperation with all stakeholders.

Meanwhile,Interior Minister Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed also visited the headquarters of Pakistan Rangers Sindh in Karachi today (Thursday).

DG Rangers Sindh Major General Iftakhar Hassan Chaudhry welcomed the Interior Minister on arrival.

He was also briefed about the operational preparedness of Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Eastern border, law and order situation across the Sindh particularly in Karachi.

The interior minister lauding the rangers for its steps to deal with terrorism, crime and maintaining law and order, assured that all necessary steps will be taken to ensure law and order in Sindh particularly Karachi.

Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed on the occasion laid floral wreath at yadgaar-e-Shuhda and offered fateha.
