DUBAI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leader Nawaz Sharif along with his daughter Maryam Nawaz reached Dubai airport Monday midnight to fly for Saudi Arabia, according to information till the filing of this report.

According to party sources, important meetings of Nawaz Sharif are expected in Saudi Arabia. The decision on the date of his possible return home is also expected during his visit to Saudi Arabia.

According to Sharif family sources, Nawaz Sharif will remain in Saudi Arabia for a week and will hold meetings with important Saudi personalities. He will also perform Umra during his visit.

The sources said that several important meeting of Nawaz Sharif are scheduled and in these meeting discussion will be held on investment in Pakistan. Several delegations of foreign investors will also meet Nawaz Sharif.

The sources said that it is expected that investment will come from UAE and Saudi Arabia for the improvement of country’s economy. Nawaz Sharif has held special political meetings in Dubai where he has been staying for several days.

According to the sources, Nawaz Sharif will hold another meeting with the leadership of PPP.

PMLN has not yet consulted any party regarding the electoral alliance. Whether the parties involved in the government coalition will form an electoral alliance or not has not been decided yet.

PMLN will field its candidates in all provinces including Punjab.

PMLN supremo Nawaz Sharif presided over party meetings where discussions of political and legal issues took place. The PMLN bigwigs also talked about upcoming political strategy. On Nawaz’s return to the country, it was agreed to greet him warmly.

Nawaz has authorised PMLN chief organiser Maryam Nawaz to handle affairs pertaining to the party and elections.

The party was given additional instructions by the former prime minister to form the manifesto committee. Nawaz also gave the party leaders instructions to create the party’s narrative for the next elections while keeping the youth in mind.
