New era of development, prosperity started in tribal districts: KP CM
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan says a new era of development and prosperity has been started in tribal districts after their merger in the province.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Mamadghat Cadet College in district Mohmand on Monday, he said promotion of quality education is top priority of the government.
Mahmood Khan said the government is working on a comprehensive plan to enhance literacy rate in the province.
He said the cadet college will be a milestone for the area and will play a key role in national development.
The Chief Minister lauded the role of security forces for restoration of peace and their efforts for development.
Earlier, in a statement the Chief Minister said that the universal health coverage through Sehat Sahulat Cards is a big step towards attaining Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision of welfare state on the model of Riast e Madina.
He said that over 300 hospitals to be registered for Sehat Sahulat programme across the province.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will formally inaugurate Sehat Cards on Friday and will also address public gathering in Swat.
