Ongoing folk festival ‘Lok Mela’ underway at Lok Virsa, Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The ongoing folk festival ‘Lok Mela’ continued at Lok Virsa in Islamabad.

Special pavilion from all provinces showed the beautiful culture of their provinces through, music, food cuisines, embroidery and dresses.

Folk artists, folk musicians, craftspeople, and dance groups presented their outstanding performances throughout the day. 

Meanwhile, Sindhi cultural night is being held tonight.

Famous folk singers will enthrall the audience with their melodious performances on the occasion. 

Meanwhile, Lok Virsa would hold "KPK Musical Night" at its complex in Islamabad on Saturday.

The night will feature traditional Pakhtun dance of swords and Frontier Constabulary dance group by KPK cultural pavilion.

A contingent of over 80 people would be participating in the Musical night to present Khattak dance group.       

The festival will culminate with a colorful award ceremony on Sunday.
