Over two bln mangroves saplings planted in Sindh

KARACHI: In Sindh, over two billion mangroves saplings have been planted in different coastal areas.

Provincial Minister for Forests, Information and Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah while talking to delegations in Karachi said the data of plantation has also been computerized for the first time.

He said this initiative will generate more than 10 billion rupees in revenue which would be spent on the welfare of the concerned local people and population.
