PESHAWAR: The Supreme Court on Monday suspended the Peshawar High Court’s (PHC) verdict denying the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC)
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said the militants of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, who want to shun path of violence should be given a chance to return to the mainstream.
In a video message, he said the state of Pakistan has gone through enormous ordeal as it sacrificed hundreds of lives in the war against terrorism.
The Information Minister said there are various splinter groups in the TTP and amongst them some individuals want to honour their pledge of allegiance to the country by returning to mainstream.
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said the country has defeated terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda in Pakistan and completely ended India’s conspiracies.
