Pakistan Railways starts track laying work from Chaman to Spin Boldak: Swati

CHAMAN: Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati says Pakistan has started work on a project to lay a railway line from its border town of Chaman to Afghanistan's Spin Boldak.

Talking to media at Chaman Railway Station, the Minister said he wants to introduce a well-organized and modern system of railway for commercial activities between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

He said the government is taking measures to get Railway out of the current deficit.

Earlier, the Minister was briefed on the Integrated Transit Trade Project.
