Pakistan team to leave for South Africa after squad tests negative for COVID-19

LAHORE: A thirty-five member Pakistan cricket team and officials will depart for Johannesburg, South Africa tomorrow (Friday) after all members of the squad tested negative for the coronavirus.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board the national team will play three one-day matches, which are part of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League from 2-7 April and four T20Is from 10-16 April.

The Pakistani team will then depart for Harare, Zimbabwe, for three T20s and two Tests, before returning home on 12 May.
