PCBL retrieves state land worth Rs. 3 billion

RAWLPINDI: Punjab Cooperative Board for Liquidation (PCBL) has retrieved 1,347 kanals of state land, worth approximately Rs. 3 billion near Mauza Kolian Pare on Main Chakri Road.

As per details the land was illegally occupied by two private housing societies for over 30 years.

According to Assistant Commissioner (AC), Rawalpindi, the land was acquired and owned by PCBL in 1989 and was under illegal occupation since then.

The acreage has now been handed over to PCBL.
