ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Imran Khan on Wednesday refused to apologise for the May 9 riots and said he is ready to face
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday has said that the decision regarding Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will be taken by Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leadership.
In a statement, the PML-N leader said that we see PPP’s demand of apology in the same way Bilawal Bhutto tore the show cause notice issued by the PDM.
The time is not far when those holding accountability will be made accountable, he added.
The reaction came day after Bilawal Bhutto had decided to resign from steering committee of opposition’s PDM.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari told that in first phase, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Sherry Rehman and Qamar Zaman Kaiwar will tender their resignations.
PPP leader said that those who want to resign from the assemblies should go ahead but they should not dictate any political party. No one is allowed to impose any decision on us, he clarified.
