Peshawar - D.I.Khan Motorway Project will bring new era of prosperity: CM KP

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan says Peshawar-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway Project will usher in a new era of prosperity and development in the region besides uplift of southern districts of the province.

Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar on Saturday, he said the project on completion will boost trade and economic activities and create jobs opportunities.

The Chief minister directed the concerned authorities to consider all available options for most feasible and economical execution of the project.

The meeting was told that 360 kilometer long motorway having six lanes, 19 interchanges and seven-kilometer long two tunnels will be constructed in Kohat and Karak districts.

It was further informed that the project will be completed at an estimated cost of 258 billion rupees.
