PM directs for timely implementation of reforms in energy sector
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to devise an action plan for timely implementation of reforms strategy in the energy sector.
Addressing a meeting to review ongoing reforms in the energy sector in Islamabad today (Thursday), he said reforms in the energy sector are essential for stability of the economy.
The Prime Minister directed to take strict action against the elements involved in creating unnecessary hurdles to consumers and doing corrupt practices in power sector.
The Prime Minister was briefed on the ongoing reforms in the energy sector, power generation as per requirement of the country, modernization of transmission and distribution systems.
