Sindh Govt establishes Provincial Vaccine Coordination Cell

KARACHI: Sindh government has established a Provincial Vaccine Coordination Cell to finalize the arrangements to administer Corona vaccine across the province.

The Secretary Health, Government of Sindh Dr. Kazim Hussain Jatoi has been appointed the head of the cell.

According to the Provincial Health Minister Dr. Azra Pechuho Corona vaccine will be given to Sindh by mid of this month with the coordination of the National Vaccine Task Force and National Command Operation Center.

She said that around two hundred fifty-thousand vaccine doses will be given to the province. Every person will be administered two doses of vaccine with a gap of 21-day.

She stated that in the first phase vaccines will be administered to the health professionals and front line workers, performing duties in Covid19 wards of public and private hospitals.
