Singer Shaukat Ali admitted to hospital
KHAIRPUR: Senior singer Shaukat Ali has been admitted to the Gambat Institute Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences, Khairpur for treatment of his liver infection on the directions of the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah
Shaukat Ali is recipient of Pride of Performance award having around five decades of singing career.
Famous for his songs during the 1965 and 1971 wars against India including Saathion Mujahidon Jaag Utha Hai Sara Watan, Mera Puttar Pakistan Da and Apna Quaid Aik Hai amongst many others. He has not been well for the last few years.
