Squad announced for South Africa, Zimbabwe tour

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the squad for the upcoming tours of South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Squads comprising of 18 players each have been selected for the One Day International (ODI) and T20s while a squad of 20 players has been announced for test matches. 

Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim has said that Pakistan will play three ODIs and four T20s against South Africa, while the teams have been selected in consultation with the captain and the coach. 

The T20 squad will include Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Sharjeel Khan, Mohammad Hafeez, Haider Ali, Danish Aziz, Asif Ali, Mohammad Nawaz, Fahim Ashraf, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Mohammad Rizwan, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain, Hasan Ali, Arshad Iqbal and Usman Qadir. 

The ODIs will include Babar Azam, Imam ul Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Abdullah Shafiq, Haider Ali, Danish Aziz, Fahim Ashraf, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain, Hasan Ali and Usman Qadir. 

The test squad will include Babar Azam, Imran Butt, Abid Ali, Abdullah Shafiq, Azhar Ali, Fawad Alam, Saud Shakil, Agha Salman, Fahim Ashraf, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Nawaz, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Tabish Khan, Hasan Ali, Shahnawaz Dahani, Noman Ali, Zahid Mehmood and Sajid Khan.
