UN Chief urges Azerbaijan, Armenia to abide by humanitarian truce

NEW YORK: The United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres has urged on Armenia and Azerbaijan to respect a new ceasefire over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh enclave.

UN Chief’s spokesman, Stephane, in a statement said deadliest attacks on civilians are totally unacceptable.

He said that both parties should fully abide by humanitarian truce and resume substantive negotiations without delay.
