ISLAMABAD: The Utility Stores Corporation will subsidize 19 essential items under ‘Ramadan Relief Package-2021’ to provide maximum relief to the marginalized segments of the society during the holy month.
The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet, in a meeting with Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh in the chair was informed that the Utility Stores Corporation under the proposed relief package will provide subsidy worth 7.8 billion rupees on various items, including wheat flour, sugar and ghee.
