WHO urges political leaders to make COVID-19 vaccines accessible to everyone

GENEVA: World Health Organization (WHO) has urged political leaders to make COVID-19 vaccines accessible to everyone.

Speaking at a regular news conference at the WHO headquarters in Switzerland, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom said the political commitment is important element for fair distribution of vaccines.

We learned during Ebola outbreaks in DRC that no matter how bad the situation is, there's always hope.
The same applies to our fight against #COVID19. With strong leadership, community engagement & a comprehensive strategy to suppress transmission, this virus can be stopped.
