Woman footballer faints in Karachi match

KARACHI: A woman footballer fell unconscious after she was hit on the face during a match of the ongoing Woman Football Championship in Karachi on Wednesday, reported media.

During the match played at KMC Ground between the teams of Pakistan Army and Riaz Kamil Football Academy, goalkeeper Nidar Kareem was hit on the face while trying to save during a penalty corner kick.

She fell unconscious on the ground and unfortunately there was no arrangement made on the ground for any first-aid.

An ambulance was called on the scene which took 10 minutes to arrive and later rushed Riaz Kamil Academy’s goalkeeper to hospital.
