QUETTA: Heavy rains, thunderstorms, and hailstones continued to lash various districts of Balochistan, including its capital, on Saturday
QUETTA: The Balochistan government has planned to construct sixteen new small dams under the Special Development Package in nine districts of the province.
Talking to our Loralai correspondent, Additional Chief Secretary Balochistan, Saboor Kakar said the dams will have capacity to irrigate one hundred and fifty thousand acres of land.
He said these dams would also help reduce water scarcity and improve underground water level in respective areas.
Saboor Kakar said health, education, water, electricity, public health infrastructure and road facilities will also be provided in these nine districts of the province.
