BEIJING: China has expressed its active support for Seoul's initiative to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, during a telephonic conversation with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, called these efforts in line with the common interests of both countries.
During the talks, the South Korean President hoped that Seoul and Beijing can work together to open a trilateral summit between the two countries along with Japan.
