Farmers breach barricades in tractor rally on Indian Republic Day
NEW DELHI: In India, tens of thousands of protesting farmers have begun entering the capital Delhi on tractors and on foot on the occasion of India's Republic Day today (Tuesday).
The farmers broke the barricades to enter the capital after the police refused to remove the same and instead fired tear gas and lathi charged the farmers.
They have been protesting for months demanding a repeal of new farms laws.
