QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has underlined the need of making dual carriageway on highways in Balochistan to reduce accidents.
Chairing a meeting held in Quetta, he urged the concerned departments to form a comprehensive strategy for prevention of road accidents on highways in Balochistan.
Expressing concern over the increasing number of road accidents in the province, he said that the loss of thousands of precious lives annually is the matter of great concern.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Chief Secretary Hafiz Abdul Basit, representatives of Motorway Police and National Highway Authority.
