HEBRON: Israeli forces have arrested six Palestinians during raids in the Al-Fawwar camp and the town of Sa’ir near the city of Hebron, Al Jazeera reports, citing local media.

Israeli forces also arrested a man during the storming of the Shuafat camp, north of occupied East Jerusalem.

According to Al Jazeera, raids have also been reported in the following locations across the occupied West Bank: Beit Ummar, Beitunia, Al-Mazraa Al-Sharqiya, Silwad, Deir Jarir and Al-Taybeh.

Riyad al-Malki held meetings with his Tunisian, Colombian and Brazilian counterparts at the 19th summit of the Non-Aligned Movement held in the Ugandan capital Kampala, Al Jazeera reports.

At the meetings, the Palestinian foreign minister discussed the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the diplomatic efforts required to achieve this and Israel’s restrictions on humanitarian aid entering Gaza, reports the Wafa news agency.

Members of the summit agreed on several points related to Israel’s ongoing incursion on Gaza at this year’s summit, issuing a communique on January 20 calling for a ceasefire and the release of remaining captives.
