Martyrdom anniversary of Lance Naik Muhammad Mehfooz being observed today
RAWALPINDI: The 49th Martyrdom anniversary of Lance Naik Muhammad Mehfooz Shaheed Nishan-e-Haider is being observed on Friday.
In a tweet, Director General ISPR, Major General Babar Iftikhar said the nation venerates supreme sacrifice of Lance Naik Muhammad Mehfooz Shaheed who embraced martyrdom at Wagah Border in 1971 war.
He said the courage and extremely daring actions of Mehfooz Shaheed in battlefield are a sublime precedent worth emulating by all defenders of motherland.
