Modern techniques to bring revolutionary improvement in agriculture sector: President

ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi has stressed the need to promote market applicable research in universities to enhance production of fruits.

Addressing a ceremony of Kinnow exhibition at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Sunday, he said modern agricultural techniques could bring a revolutionary improvement in agriculture sector of Pakistan.

The President said for ensuring viability of economy and long term growth, it is necessary that all the sectors of economy pick up and complement each other to excel.

He urged Pakistani Ambassadors to play their role in promoting country's production around the world.

The President also appreciated the role of Sargodha Chamber of Commerce for contributing valuably in country due to export of Kinnow.
