Pakistan, China will soon sign MoU to collaborate on poverty alleviation

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China will soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on poverty alleviation.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Sania Nishtar and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong discussed the draft of the MoU at a meeting in Islamabad.

Talking to newsmen after the meeting, Sania Nishtar said they are working on the final details of the MoU.

She said the framework will provide both countries an opportunity to capitalize on sharing of experiences in poverty eradication.
