GILGIT: Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced that the PTI government has decided to grant interim provincial status to Gilgit Baltistan,
Addressing Gilgit Baltistan independence day parade ceremony in Gilgit on Sunday, Imran Khan said he cannot make more announcements due to the elections in the Gilgit Baltistan, due to be held on November 15.
He said the decision to make Gilgit Baltistan a province was made keeping in view the UN resolutions.
