NEW YORK: United Nations says severe winter condition has created a really dire situation in Syria.
Talking to reporters at a press briefing, UN Secretary-General's Spokesman, Stephane Dujarric said an estimated 2.2 million internally displaced people live in inadequate shelter conditions across Syria.
He said UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance and its humanitarian partners are mobilizing additional assistance support for affected families.
